Tropical New Guinea Impatiens are showy perennials in a range of vibrant colours, flowering continuously from Spring until Autumn. Our selection of varieties is from World renowned breeders Fides of Holland. They are constantly improving their selections adding new colours, increased vigour and larger flower sizes.

Tropical Impatiens are best planted in a shady position and are relatively easy and rewarding plants to grow. Frequent watering is the key to success and active growth. In containers a good quality potting mix is essential and in the garden add plenty of organic matter and mulch when planting. Trickle irrigation providing regular water is recommended and container plants will need daily attention. Fertilise moderatley when planting and an occassional liquid feed during the growing period will help.

They flower continously from spring until the first frost. They are also used as an indoor plant with the newer selections holding their flowers well.
